Automation Engineer II

Automation Engineer II maintains and troubleshoots process control systems on the plant floor at a manufacturing facility. The role involves supporting manufacturing operations, executing process improvement projects, and managing DeltaV change control workflows while prioritizing safety and GMP compliance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot all process control systems on the plant floor
- Provide day-to-day and on-call support to manufacturing operations balancing safety and productivity
- Execute small-scale process improvement projects in collaboration with engineering teams
- Perform preventative maintenance and manage DeltaV change control work orders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent direct industry experience
- 2+ years of experience in automation or process control roles
- Proficiency with DeltaV process controls platform and batch manufacturing systems
- Experience in regulated manufacturing production environments with cGMP standards
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork capabilities
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ISO 13485 requirements preferred
Compensation: $72,600–$108,900 base
