Infrastructure Project ManagerOn behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for an Infrastructure Project Manager for a contract opportunity in Dallas, TX.The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the project produces the required deliverables, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost. The Project Manager is normally responsible for medium to large complexity and or medium to large risk projects. This will include managing the governance, scope, costing, scheduling, communications, planning & tracking, terms & conditions and risk management of the project to ensure total customer satisfaction.Key accountabilities include defining the project requirements and managing the agreement process of the project requirements and objectives with the Project Governance Board or appointed project assurance role. The Project Manager is responsible for managing the delivery of the project and production of the required products / deliverables in partnership with the customer and FAI delivery units to ensure acceptance, closedown and handover to service. They report to relevant stakeholders through regular status reports, manage business and project risks, establish and maintain the Change Control for their project against agreed plans, identify opportunities to increase revenue and margin, manage changes to the project baseline, track project costs, support payment milestones, manage the relationship and communications with key stakeholders, grow long-term relationships with clients, capitalize on equity and partnership opportunities, manage project resources, define the roles and responsibilities of the project team, forecast and establish the project team, comply with and enforce FAI standard policies and procedures, and work across practices to share lessons learned and best practices.Key measurements include project delivered within contractual obligations, client satisfaction targets per client survey, governance, risk management and other explicit control requirements adherence, contribution to professional community through production and reusable content from other projects and lessons learned, and contribution to business development through identification of new opportunities.The scope includes being accountable for delivering medium to high complexity and or medium to high risk projects, having ultimate authority to direct others and ensure project aligns with contractual obligations and client's expectation, being fully accountable for own work and/or project/supervisory responsibilities, exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action, and making decisions that influence the success of projects and team objectives.The start date for the Infrastructure Project Manager position is ASAP, and the assignment length is 6+ months. Please note that we are not able to work with candidates on H1B Visas or candidates represented by third parties.Infrastructure Project Manager mandatory skills include typically 8+ years IT project management experience, PMP certification and/or ITIL certification a plus, detailed understanding of project management methodologies, high level conceptual understanding of IT domains, ability to communicate at senior levels and good commercial and influencing skills, delivered more than 10 projects and experience of at least 2 types of project at different stages in lifecycle, planning, financial and budgetary control skills, must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Project, SharePoint and related "Project Management tool" CA Clarity a plus, experience in the following types of projects in a Client facing role: server hardware/virtual refresh, data center migrations, installations, moves or consolidations, operating systems migrations and upgrades, AD/Exchange upgrades, COTS application upgrades, Office 365 deployments, infrastructure expansions, single sign on deployments, VOIP deployments.All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
