Desktop Support Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Level 1 Service Desk and end-user support
• Onsite support for:
  • Laptop and desktop computing
  • Mobile device support
  • Workstation setup, deployment, and relocation
  • Deskside troubleshooting and support
  • Conference room and meeting room support
• Executive and business-facing support with strong communication, customer service
• Incident, request, and problem resolution in a fast-paced corporate environment
• New hire onboarding and employee offboarding activities
• Hardware deployment, asset management, and inventory tracking
• Documentation of procedures, solutions, and knowledge articles
• Coordination and escalation of issues with infrastructure, application, and vendor support teams as needed

Technical

Experience (End User Computer, Workplace Technology, Mobile Device Management)

• Strong experience supporting Windows and Apple laptops/desktops
• Strong experience with Windows 11 and macOS deployment, imaging, and support
• Strong experience supporting corporate and BYOD iPhones
• Strong experience with Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Management, and JAMF for device deployment and mobile device management
• Strong experience with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Okta Identity Management
• Experience supporting Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and meeting room technologies
• Working knowledge of network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, VPN, docking stations, connectivity issues)
• Working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure and cloud services

Required:

• 3 to 5 years of Enterprise IT Experience (Service Desk, Deskside support, Desktop Engineering)
• Experience supporting executives and VIP users
• Hands-on experience with onboarding, offboarding, and device provisioning
• Strong Experience customer service and communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills across endpoint, mobile, collaboration, and productivity technologies
• Ability to work onsite full-time in Cambridge, MA
• Familiarity with ITSM ticketing systems such as Freshservice, ServiceNow, or similar platforms

Preferred:

• Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industry experience
• Strong Experience supporting executives and senior leadership
• Experience with ITIL or certification

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cambridge, MA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
