Location: Downtown Portland, OR (Hybrid)
Compensation: Competitive Salary + 12% Target Bonus + Exceptional Benefits

CV Resources is partnering with a highly respected Pacific Northwest organization to identify a Senior Finance & Corporate Strategy Analyst to join its growing corporate strategy team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys solving complex business problems, influencing executive decision-making, and helping shape the long-term direction of an organization. You'll work on high-profile strategic initiatives ranging from acquisitions and investment opportunities to operational improvements and enterprise-wide growth strategies.

What You'll Be Doing

Build sophisticated financial models, including DCF, valuation, scenario, and sensitivity analyses
Evaluate strategic investments, acquisitions, partnerships, and other corporate development opportunities
Conduct market, competitive, and industry research to identify growth opportunities and business risks
Develop business cases and present recommendations to executive leadership
Support due diligence and transaction execution for strategic initiatives
Analyze operational efficiency and cost-saving opportunities across the business
Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify process improvements and leverage AI and automation initiatives
Create financial insights that drive informed, data-based business decisions

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
8+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, strategic finance, FP&A, or a similar analytical role
Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and strategic analysis
Strong executive communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives while working independently

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting mergers & acquisitions or strategic transactions
Background in utilities, infrastructure, energy, or other regulated industries
MBA or other advanced degree
