Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations for third shift at Vertex Pharmaceuticals in Boston. Leads daily cGMP manufacturing activities, manages shift personnel, oversees equipment operations and cleaning, and ensures regulatory compliance across the Drug Product facility.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily manufacturing operations on assigned shift
- Assign work to shift personnel based on production schedules and operational plans
- Oversee cGMP activities including equipment setup, operation, disassembly, and cleaning
- Execute and witness batch record instructions and perform real-time batch record review
- Monitor and enforce GMP compliance across facility personnel and activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in scientific, technical, or engineering discipline
- 6+ years of experience or equivalent education and experience combination
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Solid understanding of cGMP framework in pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Effective communication and organizational abilities
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Prior cell therapy and aseptic manufacturing experience preferred
Compensation: $97,900 - $146,900 base
