Requisition ID: 294910 Position to be Panel Interviewed? No Job Summary In this role, you will lead a team and manage project cost estimating, analysis, and control activities. You will identify cost trends for management attention, support project organizational and administrative activities, and ensure work is completed as scheduled. Your data analysis will provide innovative solutions to cost engineering challenges, and your leadership will be essential to project success. Major Responsibilities Manage the cost estimating, analysis, and control activities for a significant area within a project, requiring a high degree of technical skill. Identify cost trends for management attention. Analyze data to provide innovative solutions to cost engineering challenges. Ensure work is completed as scheduled. Support project organizational and administrative activities. Education and Experience Requirements Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience, or 14-17 years of relevant work experience. Required Knowledge and Skills Experience and demonstrated skill in directing cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, control, and analysis, in both client offices and the home office. Experience and demonstrated skill in establishing criteria for Project Controls activities. Skilled in providing direction, personnel administration, and training of technical and non-technical personnel. Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and solving problems. Knowledge of current industry and technical developments. Able to independently provide guidance, training and coaching to junior and mid-grade Cost Engineers across multiple backgrounds. Excellent communication and presentation skills, combining sound analytical cost engineering principles with the ability to summarize, reach appropriate conclusions, and implement cost containment plans.
