Physician - Cardiologist

Job Title: Cardiologist
Location: Potsdam, New York
Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate : $241 - $259/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Cardiologist for a temporary assignment in Potsdam, New York. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Cardiologist:

• Provide outpatient clinic services approximately 3 days per week
• Supervise Stress Tests approximately 1 day per week
• Perform inpatient consults and stress lab duties
• Provide on-call coverage from 4pm to 8am as needed to fill scheduling gaps
• Read the nuclear portion of stress tests as needed to support other providers (preferred but not required)
• Participate in hospital consult service rotation on an ad hoc basis
• Work within a solo practice setting, delivering General Cardiology services
• Maintain Board Certification in Cardiology
• Maintain Board Certification to read Cardiac Imaging studies, including Nuclear Stress tests (preferred)
• Utilize Epic charting system for all documentation
• Maintain a valid New York State medical license
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Float between outpatient clinic and hospital consult service locations as required
