Responsibility

Per Diem by case. Echocardiograph Technologist is responsible for acquiring and interpreting m-mode, 2-D, pulse and continuous Doppler and color Doppler echocardiograms, contrast echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms, as well as completing echo worksheets and performing all necessary calculations in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and safe work environment following aseptic techniques.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree preferred

Experience Requirements

At least 3 years as an Echocardiographer preferred

Licensing and Certification Requirements (if applicable)

BLS certification

RDCS required

Qualifications

• Certification as an Echo Technologist
• Proven experience in cardiology or related fields is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and cardiac anatomy.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and medical staff.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
