We are looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position plays a critical role in keeping our injection molding equipment, production systems, and facility infrastructure operating safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is a multi-craft maintenance professional with strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with injection molding equipment. You should enjoy diagnosing problems, identifying root causes, and making reliable repairs, not simply replacing parts.

What You'll Do

• Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on injection molding machines and related production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on injection molding presses, including clamp, injection, and ejector systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems by reviewing diagnostic screens, fault codes, PLC inputs/outputs, sensors, switches, and other control components.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Cartesian robots, collaborative robots, end-of-arm tooling, and other automated equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hot runner systems, temperature controllers, mold temperature control units, pumps, valves, chillers, and water systems.
• Troubleshoot facility systems including rotary screw air compressors, dryers, compressed-air distribution, and basic HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including 3-phase power, motor controls, VFDs, and low-voltage control circuits.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic valves, cylinders, fittings, and related components.
• Perform general facility maintenance, including minor plumbing, lighting, doors, and building repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules and identify opportunities to improve PM effectiveness.
• Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and other maintenance equipment.
• Operate manual mills and lathes to fabricate or modify components for general repairs.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
• Complete work orders, PM documentation, and parts usage records accurately.
• Respond to production downtime and prioritize repairs based on safety, production needs, and business impact.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in plastics/injection molding manufacturing. Journeyman industrial maintenance or comparable technical certification preferred.
• Strong multi-craft maintenance background with experience across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Working knowledge of preventive maintenance programs.
• Ability to work safely with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Ability and willingness to obtain required safety and equipment certifications.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting injection molding machinery.
