Your future role at a glance Location: Wichita, KS Facility: Via Christi Hospital St. Francis Department: Cardiac ICU Schedule: Day Shift| Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 7am-7pm Via Christi associates are eligible for tuition discounts and priority placement in select healthcare programs through our academic partnership with Wichita State University. How you'll make an impact in this role Ensure a seamless workflow for the unit by managing administrative tasks, communication, and patient records. Managing patient and visitor communication, handling telephone calls, mail, and other general clerical duties. Accurately scheduling patient appointments and procedures, and communicating about patient care with physicians and nursing staff. Assembling and maintaining patient charts, providing administrative and technical assistance with clinical processes like order entry, patient transfers, and discharges. Coordinating meetings, maintaining meeting minutes, and managing staff-related administrative tasks like timekeeping and scheduling changes. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
