Job Description Summary Regional leader for External Supply Sourcing in the Americas, driving value for Sandoz through alignment with global category strategy and stakeholder engagement across procurement, business units and external partners. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a geographically dispersed team across the United States, South America and Canada. Develop the category network and performance management process for all operational/functional reports. Collaborate with ESO SMO LT to consolidate supplier, market, category and internal business data to inform the category strategy. Support and lead make‑vs‑buy analysis for new and existing products. Implement sub‑category strategies for API, excipient and packaging materials at CMOs/BD partners. Align with ESO teams region‑wide and outside the Americas to support local markets. Partner with BD&L teams for early contract review and technical operations procurement harmonization. Ensure delivery against procurement balanced scorecard measures. Deliver on a $400M category objective. Lead projects that increase cost efficiency, productivity and quality across the portfolio. Generate cross‑functional workshops to create and implement savings opportunities, including supplier engagement. Build supplier relationships to resolve performance, delivery and quality issues. Negotiate and execute terms, conditions, contracts and agreements for goods and services. Engage with internal partners across sites to coordinate purchasing and evaluate total solutions. Apply best‑price and cost‑analysis techniques to secure value for the corporation. Act as a change agent to drive procurement best practices and early planning. Report savings monthly and maintain transparent communication with all levels of the organization and suppliers. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree minimum; master’s degree preferred (business administration, finance, law, scientific or technical). Professional qualification: CIPS or equivalent preferred. Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken). Experience: Minimum 10 years in procurement (or equivalent), with at least 5 years of team leadership in a direct spend category; pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus. Global supply‑chain knowledge is an advantage. Proven leadership in a matrix organization across geographies and cultures. Extensive experience in change and category management and senior‑level influencing. Skills: effective communication, finance management, customer needs analysis, resource management and negotiation. Travel: Up to 30 percent required; willingness to travel across a broad geography. Location & Remote Work Position based in Princeton, NJ. Remote work up to 50 percent of the monthly workday is not permitted. Preference given to local candidates not requiring relocation. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship not available. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $160,300 – $297,700 per year (effective 1/1/26‑12/31/26). Total compensation may include sign‑on bonus, restricted stock units, discretionary awards and a full range of medical, financial and time‑off benefits, including 401k and parental leave.
