Physical Therapist

Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week

Requirements:

• 1 year of Physical Therapy experience (required)
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience (required)
• Oklahoma State License (required)
• New graduates are acceptable with Level II experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate plans of care.
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and healthcare team members about patient progress and treatment plans.
• Document all clinically required information in the electronic system and maintain patient records according to policy.
• Supervise and support physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation aides as necessary.
