Bookkeeper Watchstox (Accar Watches, LLC d/b/a Watchstox) | 111 NE 1st Street, Suite 500, Downtown Miami, FL 33132 Job type: Full-time, on-site, hourly (eligible for overtime) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including a paid 30-minute lunch Pay: $25 to $29 per hour, based on experience and skills Reports to: Office Manager About Watchstox Watchstox is a family-owned business with more than 30 years in the wholesale buying and selling of pre-owned luxury watches. About the Role The Bookkeeper keeps Watchstox's day-to-day financial records accurate and current. Reporting to the Office Manager, you will reconcile bank and credit card accounts, manage vendor bills and payments, invoice customers and follow up on balances, and keep financial records organized for month-end, audits, and tax preparation. You will handle vendor bills, customer invoices, and bank and credit card accounts each month in QuickBooks Desktop. Onboarding provided by our off-site bookkeeper. Key Responsibilities Reconciliations (60% of the role) Reconcile bank and credit card accounts [monthly, or more often] Review credit card charges and categorize them correctly Support monthly and quarterly reconciliations with the Office Manager Accounts payable (25%) Enter and process vendor bills accurately and on time Prepare vendor payments, route them through the approval process, and release them after the President's final approval Accounts receivable (5%) Create and maintain customer invoices Follow up with customers on outstanding balances under the payment terms set by management, and update records [Repair invoices: wording depends on open item 3] Records and filing (5%) Keep digital and physical files of financial documents, receipts, and transaction paperwork organized and easy to find Gather and organize documents for audits and tax preparation Reporting (5%) Prepare basic financial reports for internal review [name the reports and how often] Track business expenses and operating costs Work with other departments to resolve billing and payment questions Requirements 1 to 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Working knowledge of basic accounting principles: debits and credits, accounts payable and receivable, and account reconciliation Experience with QuickBooks Desktop, Excel, and Google Sheets Strong attention to detail; able to spot and resolve discrepancies Highly organized; able to manage multiple deadlines Professional, clear communication with vendors, customers, and coworkers Successful completion of a background check before your start date Preferred Experience in a small business English speaking, writing, communication proficiency What We Offer $25 to $29 per hour, based on experience and skills Paid 30-minute lunch 80 hours of paid time off, available after 90 days Six paid holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day Potential for an earned bonus Downtown Miami office with access to public transportation Watchstox is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Watchstox
