Patient Access Manager

Patient Access Manager Join our thriving healthcare organization as a Patient Access Manager, where you'll lead the department in delivering exceptional care to every patient on every visit. Your responsibilities will include coordinating patient access by verifying insurance coverage, managing patient registration and billing, and overseeing daily operations to ensure efficient patient flow and clear communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers. You'll stay updated on third-party payer regulations, monitor inpatient Medicare patients for accurate levels of care and eligibility, and evaluate staff accuracy in collecting demographics and insurance eligibility. Additionally, you'll address patient complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all involved. Join us in making a difference in the lives of our patients! Requirements: Associates or Bachelors degree in business or related field, preferred. 3-5+ years experience in a patient registration or patient accounts area at an acute care facility, required. 2+ years of progressive leadership experience, required. Working knowledge of third-party billing practices and state/federal regulations regarding patient billing, customer service, required.
