Paralegal - Litigation

Hall & Evans, LLC, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Missoula, Montana. This position will work on existing client files and help establish a strong local presence in Montana. This is a key position that will have additional responsibilities associated with running a law office and will serve as the main point of contact for the corporate office. This position offers a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home after successfully completing training. Requirements Civil litigation with a defense firm, preferred; Montana civil litigation experience, preferred; Obtain, review and analyze medical, financial, tax, and employment records, or any other relevant documents and records; Prepare medical record summaries; Draft pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence; Experience billing time; Well-developed writing and research skills; Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook; Ability to stay focused on numerous details while maintaining a high level of accuracy; Anticipating attorney’s needs, identifying problems, and finding solutions; Ability to work with limited supervision, independently or with a team; Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with a wide variety of people; Ability to exercise a high degree of tact, discretion, and sound judgment; Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a high-volume workload to meet time-critical deadlines; Exceptional interpersonal skills with a mature, professional, and personable presentation and demeanor; High level of integrity and personal accountability; Flexibility to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines; Excellent attendance and reliability; ABA Paralegal Certificate, preferred; Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, preferred, and; Ability to lift 25 lbs. when necessary.
