Controls Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, including expertise in HMI, PLC programming, and control system design, to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop control systems for manufacturing equipment and processes
Program and troubleshoot PLCs to ensure optimal performance
Implement HMI systems for user-friendly interface and monitoring
Conduct tests and evaluations of control systems to ensure functionality and safety
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control solutions into existing systems
Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel and operators
Document control system designs and changes for compliance and future reference

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
Proven experience as a Controls Engineer or similar role
Strong knowledge of HMI and PLC programming
Familiarity with control system design and implementation
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
