This role involves working closely with insurance companies, patients, and internal departments to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for medical services rendered. **What you will do:*** Prepare and submit insurance claims for all patient services in accordance with insurance guidelines and hospital policies.* Verify accuracy of patient demographic and insurance information.* Review and resolve billing errors and discrepancies.* Monitor the status of claims and follow up on outstanding or denied claims.* Verify patients' insurance coverage and eligibility prior to services.* Accurately post payments received from insurance companies and patients. Process refunds when necessary.* Reconcile payments with billed amounts and identify discrepancies.* Analyze and resolve claim denials by identifying the root causes.
