If you're experienced, safety-focused, and ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you.Why You'll Love It Here:Competitive pay (based on experience) – Up to $41.00 per hour*$2,000 Sign-on Bonus*$Up to $1,000 boot, tool and eyeglass allowance (See location for details)401(k) with company match* Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off & holidays Career growth opportunities Supportive, team-oriented environment* Reward yourself: NACSB Certification Incentives (Up to $5.00 per hour bonus - see location for details)What You'll Do:Maintain, repair, and overhaul school buses and fleet vehicles per FMCSA guidelines.Champion the adoption of cutting-edge EV maintenance practices and technology.Perform inspections, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance.Tune engines, align wheels, and maintain electrical systems to meet DOT standards.Replace worn parts, change filters, and perform oiling/greasing.Test drive vehicles post-repair to ensure safety and performance.Conduct minor bodywork and repainting as needed.Track parts usage, manage inventory, and order supplies.Report safety concerns and corrective actions.Mentor junior technicians and assist where neededPerform other duties as assignedWhat You Bring:Experience in diesel engine repair and vehicle maintenance.Familiarity with FMCSA and DOT safety standards.Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.Leadership skills and willingness to train others.Technical certification or ASE preferredApply NowSubmit your application to wrenchayellowbus.com
