JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE: Compliance Monitor

REPORTS TO:   Director

SUMMARY: Provide oversight of assigned Food Sites to ensure overall compliance.

Objective: This position supports the Food Service Program (SFSP), (CACFP).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Check onsite operations to ensure that site personnel maintain records

• Ensure the program operates in accordance with the requirements

• Visit all sites within the 1st week of operations to ensure that the site is operating smoothly and that any needed adjustments are made, or problems resolved

• Review food service operations of all sites within the first 4 weeks of operation to examine the meal service pattern from start to finish

• Conduct Pre-Operational visits for new and problem sites

• Reconciling any discrepancies in meal counts and records with the site supervisor

• Suggest corrective actions for problems encountered

• Ensure that the site takes corrective actions

• Report unresolved or critical issues to the director

• Revisit sites as necessary

• Conduct onsite training as necessary, including Civil Rights Requirements

• Ensure daily and weekly meal count is complete

• Conduct survey 5 weeks into the program

• Ensure that Combined Racial/Ethnic Data Collection form’s are completed

• Conduct 2 schedule and 1 unscheduled site reviews for CACFP

• Preparing reports of your site visits and reviews and ensuring that copies of the reports are included in an official file for each site.

• Ensure all program documents are completed and submitted in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma is required; AA Degree is preferred. Detail oriented with strong communications skills required. Ability to multi-task. Ability to work cooperatively with DECAL State Staff, SFSP/CACFP participants, BOLD Ministries Staff, and members of the public. Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Must have a computer. Must have a criminal background check.
