Job Description
Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule

Night-shift position: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total). Weekend requirement: One out of every three weekends. Candidates willing to pick up additional weekend shifts are highly desirable.

Requirements

• PALS and ACLS certifications
• BSN required
• BLS certification
• Minimum of three years of ED experience; trauma experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and updated patient documentation.
