Physical Therapist - Wound Care

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team! Position Summary Providing evidence-based wound care to outpatients within a freestanding Rehab clinic. Close collaboration with wound care PTs at Methodist Hospital. Previous experience or exposure to wound care required, additional training/mentoring provided as needed. Role includes weekend rotation and one holiday per year providing wound care for inpatients at Methodist Hospital. Potential to expand to full-time position in the future. Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned. Work Schedule .90 FTE, TBD, Includes some weekends and one holiday per year at Methodist Hospital Required Qualifications Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination Doctorate, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in physical therapy Licensure/ Registration/ Certification Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy Preferred Qualifications Recommend experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a medical setting. Recommend membership in related professional organization. Proficient with communication and data processing equipment. Proficient in clinical equipment related to area of expertise. Proficient in organization electronic medical record software.
