Job Title: Engineering Technician (Electrical Specialist)

Location: Dyess Air Force Base, Abilene, TX
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract
Duration: 12-month base year extendable up to 2 additional years
Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain a CONFIDENTIAL security clearance

Major Responsibilities

• Support the development, planning, and execution of Facilities, Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (FSRM) projects.
• Perform equipment troubleshooting and diagnostics; evaluate electrical systems to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage technical and administrative tasks for unscheduled work, preventive maintenance (sustainment), and corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate and review submitted data deliverables (such as designs or reports) for functional and technical accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Assist in defining project requirements and developing Statements of Work (SOW), cost estimates, and other components of acquisition packages.
• Maintain databases for project tracking, ensuring all data is compiled into organized project notebooks and files.
• Provide technical expertise at Government meetings and participate in planning and execution forums

Mandatory Qualifications

• Minimum of 8+ years of thoroughly documented and relevant work experience in engineering technician services with specific background in Electrical systems is required.
• Extensive knowledge of Building Code requirements , electrical equipment troubleshooting, diagnostics, and evaluation.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
