Position Summary
We’re hiring an experienced Diesel Technician / Mechanic to diagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty trucks. This position requires strong technical skills in both mechanical and electrical systems, and the ability to handle after-hours service calls using a company service truck.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate diagnostics on diesel engines , electrical systems , transmissions , hydraulics , and air brakes .
- Use OEM software , scan tools , and diagnostic equipment to identify and repair issues efficiently.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections on trucks and equipment.
- Respond to after-hours service calls during assigned shifts.
- Maintain detailed service records and follow all company and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working on medium- and heavy-duty trucks.
- 5+ years of electrical diagnostic experience using OEM software and scan tools.
- Strong understanding of diesel systems, mechanical repair, and diagnostic tools.
- Certifications are a plus, but hands-on experience and skill matter most.
- Must be willing to work an after-hours service truck shift.
