Touchstone Brewing: Cook at Pintworks Brewpub Touchstone Brewing Company is an 1,800 sq. ft. brewery with a 2,600 sq. ft. tap room, along with a shaded outdoor beer garden perfect for warm Sacramento summers. The taproom itself, affectionately dubbed PintWorks, offers beer, other beverages (including non-alcoholic), and food. While we’re very excited about being the first climbing gym in the USA to brew its own beer, we’re most thrilled to have a place on-site for the community to come together over food and drinks. The restaurant portion of our brewpub is now open— and we need your help serving the community! About the Role Pintworks Pub is seeking a dedicated Cook/Back of House (BOH) team member to join our dynamic kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious food for our customers and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment. You will report directly to the Pub Manager and have the opportunity to collaborate with the Front of House (FOH) team when necessary. Location: Pintworks Pub at Touchstone Brewing, Sacramento, CA Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas. Assist in receiving and storing food supplies, products, and equipment. Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, fryers, and dishwashers. Monitor food stock and place orders as needed. Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation at all times. Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service. Assist FOH staff as needed. Follow directions and tasks as assigned by the Pub Manager. Perform other tasks as needed Requirements & Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Experience in a commercial kitchen setting. Successful completion of a background check may be required. Physical Demands Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely. Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours). Occasional exposure to varying temperatures. Flexibility to bend, kneel, sit, climb, and walk as needed. Adaptability to varying noise levels, with ear protection available if necessary. Hours This is a per diem position with no guaranteed hours. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays; A flexible schedule is required. Compensation and Benefits Starting Pay is $21.00/hour. Cook/Back of House individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to; facility location and type, membership volume, experience, and job/position tenure.
