Equipment Management Engineer

Position Summary As a member of the Innovation Equipment team, you will manage, develop, and evolve Samsung Austin Semiconductor's lean manufacturing program, implementing lean principles, analyzing equipment data, and driving equipment performance alongside Fab Engineering teams. Responsibilities Manage fab‑wide equipment improvement projects across cross‑functional teams. Lead Lean activities, including Value Stream Mapping, process mapping, and AIW. Analyze equipment gap‑to‑goal data and drive initiatives to meet performance metrics. Deliver staff/executive level presentations, proposals, and status reports. Reduce inefficiencies using data analysis, lean methodology, and equipment analytics solutions. Interpret data with TIBCO Spotfire, JMP, or similar, and develop novel solutions. Qualifications B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related engineering (additional engineering or manufacturing degrees accepted). 5+ years in the semiconductor industry, with 3+ years in a Project or Program Manager role. Knowledge of theory of operations and equipment maintenance. Lean and/or Six Sigma experience; Green/Black Belt preferred. Experience implementing lean principles and leading workshops such as VSM, BPSM, AIW, 3P, Kaizen. Programming experience in Python, SQL, HTML (full‑stack/cloud computing a plus). Compensation Base salary range $70,480 – $179,090, plus competitive benefits and incentive compensation programs.
