Job Title and Classification Supervisor – Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervening Services (CCEIS) Salary Range: $163,526.35–$174,809.28 annually Appointment Type: Certificated Length of Appointment: Contracts granted per fiscal year, July 1 – June 30 Calendar: Full Time – 224 days Essential Duties Partner with cross-divisional teams—including Student Services, Special Education, LEAD, Curriculum & Instruction, and the African American Achievement & Leadership Initiative (AAALI)—to strengthen academic and behavioral MTSS systems through professional development, coaching, and systemic planning that improves student outcomes. Coordinate training and support for principals, leadership teams, and student support staff (counselors, social workers, CWALs, and psychologists) in implementing pre-referral interventions, culturally responsive practices, parent engagement, alternatives to suspension, literacy supports, and implicit bias awareness. Lead the development and implementation of Compliance and Improvement Monitoring (CIM) for Significant Disproportionality activities by supporting school leadership teams and CCEIS Site Leads in identifying root causes, monitoring progress, and driving site-based improvement efforts. Build sustainable partnerships among district teams, family engagement organizations, and community advisory groups to increase collaboration, family engagement, and communication through quarterly partner meetings, newsletters, and website updates. Coordinate the CCEIS implementation team, monitor site progress, and represent school sites in reporting on implementation activities and student outcomes. Develop systems to ensure calibration and alignment across schools and transition grades, including coordination with PK referral and assessment teams. Supervise, evaluate, recruit, and support Student and Family Services Staff, CCEIS-funded staff and Site Leads while ensuring all plan activities are documented for quarterly reporting. Coordinate collection and analysis of implementation evidence and student data to monitor progress, inform reporting, and support continuous improvement efforts, including oversight of Rising Scholar Plan implementation and quarterly progress reviews. Manage budgets, expenditures, and contracts related to CCEIS implementation in collaboration with the fiscal office, including quarterly expenditure monitoring and budget projections. Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with the California Department of Education, technical assistance facilitators, district leadership, and Special Education leadership to ensure accountability and compliance. Qualifications Knowledge of San Francisco’s public schools/urban public schools and a passionate belief in SFUSD’s commitment to instructional leadership as a lever toward delivering on the SFUSD Graduate Profile. Strong analytics and systems thinking necessary to interpret data to inform goals and strategy, as well as build infrastructure where none exists. Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and roles within a complex organization. A proven record of effectively planning, organizing and using resources to take action and achieve goals. The ability to learn quickly and adapt as needed in a fast‑paced environment. Outstanding organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. A flexible, "can do" work ethic with a focus on identifying challenges and proactively working to find solutions while maintaining a bigger picture lens and focus on what can be delivered instead of what cannot be done. Excellent data analysis skills and experience synthesizing data to drive action steps. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with senior level district staff and colleagues. Effective written and verbal communication and the ability to clearly communicate complex, bureaucratic processes to a variety of audiences. Ability to define and implement effective HR business practices. Ability to work effectively in difficult situations that involve confidential and sensitive matters. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms). Knowledge and working experience within related service domains. Experience designing/facilitating professional development opportunities. Minimum Qualifications Valid permanent California Administrative Credential. One (1) year of successful site or central office leadership experience and experience leading and supervising teams.
