Work Environment

The Physical Therapist role is centered on home care, allowing you to work directly with patients in their own environments. This setting fosters a personal connection, enabling you to observe their functional capabilities more authentically. You will work on a Monday to Friday schedule, from 9 AM to 5 PM, dedicating your hours to helping patients regain their strength and mobility at home.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic musculoskeletal pain.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that leverage evidence-based therapeutic methodologies tailored to patient needs.
• Utilize a variety of interventions such as manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to promote mobility and functional independence.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, proper movement mechanics, and create customized home exercise programs to ensure ongoing recovery.
• Collaborate with orthopedic physicians, physician assistants, and medical staff to facilitate optimal care and improve patient outcomes through a cohesive treatment approach.
• Regularly assess and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve the best rehabilitation results.
• Maintain accurate and thorough records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to track patient care and outcomes.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation and physical therapy practices to continuously improve expertise and care delivery.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, or equivalent educational qualifications.

• A proven ability to create and implement patient-specific treatment plans based on thorough evaluations.

Compensation and Benefits
