Work Environment

This role is set in a modern rehabilitation facility where collaboration and innovation are paramount. As a Sports Rehabilitation Specialist, you will enjoy an athlete-centric work environment with access to cutting-edge technology, including force plates, motion capture systems, and specialized training equipment like AlterG and Normatec. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team that includes strength coaches, athletic trainers, and sports medicine physicians. The typical schedule runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, guaranteeing a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

In your role, you will have a diverse set of responsibilities aimed at promoting the health and performance of athletes. Specific tasks include:

• Conducting detailed, sport-specific evaluations and biomechanical assessments to identify movement deficiencies and recovery needs.
• Designing and implementing individualized rehabilitation programs that focus on return-to-sport readiness, tailored to the unique demands of each sport.
• Utilizing evidence-based interventions such as manual therapy techniques, neuromuscular re-education, and advanced modalities like blood flow restriction (BFR) training.
• Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Collaborating effectively with coaches, orthopedic specialists, and performance experts to create a comprehensive recovery strategy for each athlete.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on athletes across a wide range of levels, from high school sports teams to competitive adult athletes. You will manage cases involving acute injuries, chronic conditions, and performance optimization, ensuring that each client receives tailored care that addresses their specific needs and athletic goals.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• An active or eligible license to practice physical therapy in the state of Nevada.
• A strong commitment to sports rehabilitation and a passion for helping athletes achieve their best.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with diverse professionals.

Preferred Experience

While the following experiences are not mandatory, they will enhance your candidacy:

• Certification as a CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) or SCS (Sports Certified Specialist).
• Experience in strength and conditioning, athletic training, or sports performance enhancement.

Compensation and Benefits

Royal Heights Rehabilitation Center offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
