Work Environment

You will work in a welcoming and supportive rehabilitation facility that is designed to optimize patient recovery. Our clinic operates out of an outpatient setting focused on orthopedic rehabilitation, allowing you to interact closely with patients on their recovery journeys. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a balanced professional life that allows you to engage fully in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions using relevant assessment tools to establish effective treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.
• Implement hands-on techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, ensuring that each intervention is effective and promotes optimal recovery.
• Monitor patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to enhance outcomes and address any challenges encountered during rehabilitation.
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies and rehabilitation exercises that can be performed at home, equipping them with the tools for sustained recovery.
• Collaborate with medical professionals and other therapists to ensure comprehensive care for complex cases, and participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment adjustments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatients suffering from orthopedic injuries and conditions such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndrome. You will actively engage with a diverse patient population, including athletes, active adults, and seniors, tailoring your approach to their distinct needs and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; candidates with a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy will be prioritized.
• Current Nevada Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Exceptional communication skills and a strong focus on patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Prior hands-on experience with therapeutic interventions and exercise prescription is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and treatment tracking.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $95,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
