Work Environment

Our orthopedic outpatient clinic is designed to create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for both patients and staff. Operating onsite from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, our facility provides a wide array of rehabilitation services tailored to meet the needs of our diverse patient population. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, working closely with physicians, other therapists, and support staff to optimize care delivery that is timely and effective. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and reassessments to determine patients' functional capacity and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, tailored to address specific orthopedic conditions.
• Utilize hands-on manual therapy techniques and guide patients through tailored exercise progressions, focusing on skill acquisition and recovery.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment options, injury recovery, and preventative strategies to enhance long-term wellness.
• Collaborate effectively with referring physicians and team members to refine and optimize patient care, ensuring continuity of service.
• Foster a positive culture in the clinic that emphasizes teamwork, professional development, and patient-centric care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients dealing with a variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. You will encounter a diverse patient demographic, ranging from athletes seeking to regain peak performance to older adults focused on maintaining mobility and independence. This role requires a compassionate approach that respects the unique needs and goals of each individual.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Nevada.
• Proficient clinical reasoning abilities and excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
• Experience or comfort in treating a wide array of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• A commitment to lifelong learning and professional development within a collaborative clinical environment.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in orthopedic clinical skills, with a strong interest or OCS certification being highly regarded.
• Familiarity with post-operative protocols, sports therapy techniques, and hands-on manual therapy methods.
• Prior experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation.
