Work Environment

The Floater Physical Therapist will operate in a dynamic work setting, moving between different clinics in and around Carson City. This full-time position encompasses traditional hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services to a diverse range of patients, ensuring quality care and satisfaction at every clinic location.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Implement effective interventions based on developed treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices to drive optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate proactively with clinic teams, including physicians and nursing staff, to ensure the continuity of care during staff absences and peak demand periods.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, pain management, and strategies for injury prevention to empower them in their recovery.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with clinic guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Provide mentorship to less experienced staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Ensure that all clinics uphold exceptional standards of care, professionalism, and positive patient outcomes.
• Travel to various clinic locations as needed, with travel expenses reimbursed to facilitate seamless caregiving.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be serving a broad and diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, athletes rehabilitating from injuries, and patients with chronic pain conditions. Your approach will be tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, aiming to restore mobility, improve function, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program is required.
• A valid Physical Therapy license, or eligibility, in the state of Nevada.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess and treat a wide range of orthopedic and rehabilitation cases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• A flexible attitude and willingness to adapt to varying clinic environments, ensuring high-quality patient care.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently while maintaining strong organizational skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedics or sports therapy is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
