Work Environment

This Physical Therapist position is onsite, primarily focusing on home care, ensuring you deliver therapy in a familiar and comfortable setting for your clients. You will engage with patients one-on-one, developing meaningful relationships while ensuring they receive necessary care and support. Given the mobile nature of this position, you will also need to manage your schedule efficiently, adhering to clinic policies while providing flexible, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities, mobility levels, and rehabilitation needs in their homes.
• Design individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that address specific rehabilitation objectives and patient lifestyle.
• Implement therapy programs that may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to enhance recovery.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate patient documentation utilizing Raintree software to ensure compliance with clinic protocols and enhance communication among team members.
• Provide thorough education to patients and their caregivers about treatment plans, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies to empower them in their recovery.
• Monitor and track patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to optimize health outcomes and ensure a pathway to successful rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will predominantly focus on patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery from joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Working closely with these individuals allows you to apply your specialized skills in developing rehabilitation protocols that foster both physical recovery and overall well-being in their everyday lives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution is required.
• An active or eligible Physical Therapist license in Nevada to practice is mandatory.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively convey treatment goals and inspire patients.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience within a physical therapy setting, preferably in outpatient and home care environments.

Compensation and Benefits
