Kinesiologist / Biomechanics Specialist

Role Overview

Apply your kinesiology and biomechanics expertise to improve advanced AI training data through precise hand and finger landmark annotation. This remote contract role focuses on interpreting image and video data, including complex hand positions, varied perspectives, and object interactions. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Annotate hand and finger landmarks using MediaPipe-style hand topology while following detailed protocols and tolerance thresholds.
• Identify and mark anatomical joints and keypoints, including the wrist, MCP, PIP, DIP, fingertips, and thumb-specific CMC, MCP, IP, and thumb-tip landmarks.
• Infer and accurately label partially occluded or visually challenging joints and landmarks.
• Interpret diverse hand poses, orientations, and perspectives across image and video data to produce consistent annotations.
• Review visual feedback, identify deviations from requirements, and make targeted corrections to maintain quality at scale.

Qualifications

• Strong anatomy expertise, particularly involving hand and finger structures.
• Ability to perform detailed annotation work using MediaPipe-style hand topology.
• Excellent attention to detail, visual reasoning, and image and video analysis skills.
• Experience with quality assurance and following defined protocols and guidelines.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $15 to $80 per hour.
