Elementary Clerk/Tutor/Noon Supervisor

Christina Huddleston Elementary School – Part‑Time Combined Position Part‑time position comprising Elementary Clerk, Noon Supervisor, and Intervention Tutor responsibilities (3.75 hours per day). Classification and Pay Elementary Clerk / Noon Supervisor: A‑1‑1 – $16.25–$19.66 per hour depending on experience. Intervention Tutor: B‑2‑1 – $19.85–$24.05 per hour depending on experience. Responsibilities Elementary Clerk Support elementary staff in smooth and efficient running of the school. Perform office duties (data entry, filing, phone support). Use word processing and computer programs (Microsoft Word, Apple Works, Excel). Operate and troubleshoot copy machines, fax machines, printers, laminators, and binding machines. Maintain good interpersonal and communication skills. Noon Supervisor Supervise students on the playground, cafeteria, and classroom during the lunch period. Ensure physical safety and emotional behavior of the entire grade level. Implement discipline plans when necessary. Work outdoors in various weather conditions for 20‑30 minutes per shift. Intervention Tutor (Intervention Services) Provide group tutorials and supervision for students needing extra academic support. Assist students in learning basic elementary curriculum. Maintain ethical behavior and confidentiality consistent with licensed teachers. Qualifications Elementary Clerk High school diploma or equivalent required. Office experience preferred. Knowledge of word processing and computer programs (Microsoft Word, Apple Works, Excel). Good interpersonal and communication skills. Technical skills in operating and troubleshooting copy/fax/printing equipment. Intervention Tutor Associate degree or two years of college required. Training or experience working with children in a group tutorial and supervisory setting. Strong interpersonal skills for working with students and adults. Ability to assist students in learning basic elementary curriculum. Maintain high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality. Noon Supervisor High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work outdoors in various types of weather for 20‑30 minutes. Responsible for physical safety and emotional behavior of a grade level; implement discipline plans when necessary.
