Greathouse Therapy & Balance Centers is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist for a full-time position in our outpatient rehabilitation center located in Jackson, New Jersey. Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and technology to support physical therapy practice. The work hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM, allowing for structured scheduling and a balanced work-life scenario. As part of a multidisciplinary team of health professionals, you will collaborate closely with occupational therapists, physical therapist assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations of patients, utilizing standardized testing and clinical observations to determine individual therapy needs.
• Develop tailored treatment plans with specific, measurable goals, and implement therapeutic interventions for a diverse patient population.
• Adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback, utilizing evidence-based practices to adjust therapeutic approaches.
• Document patient progress accurately and promptly in both written and electronic formats, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in physical therapy.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status, treatment strategies, and recommendations for ongoing care.
• Participate in regular team meetings and case discussions, contributing insights related to your specialized knowledge and experience.
• Supervise and educate physical therapy students or assistants, fostering a learning environment to enhance their professional development.
• Stay current with industry advancements, regulations, and best practice standards through continuing education and professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. You will be instrumental in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and functional independence, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, from young athletes to elderly clients seeking to improve their mobility.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is highly preferred.
• Active Physical Therapy license issued by the New Jersey State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is required.

Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with advanced certifications (such as OCS, SCS, or similar) or specific training in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise programs will be given preference. Experience working with both adult and pediatric populations is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
