Work Environment

You will work in a modern rehabilitation facility that encourages a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. Our full-time physical therapists typically work from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life structure. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized patient care by assessing patients' needs and developing personalized treatment plans to achieve specific rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload, ensuring that each visit is focused and allows ample time for meaningful interaction with patients.
• Exhibit a strong background in orthopedic outpatient care, utilizing manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises tailored to each patient's requirements.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies that aim to enhance patients' mobility and functional abilities.
• Advocate for non-surgical treatment alternatives, guiding patients toward effective solutions that lessen their dependency on medications.
• Design and implement comprehensive wellness and fitness programs that address the individual health goals of patients.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive mindset to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring cohesive patient care through shared insights and professional expertise.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness and track patient progress, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Keep precise and detailed documentation of patient interactions and treatment protocols to facilitate continuity of care and regulatory compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will primarily cater to outpatient individuals with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. Our diverse patient base ranges from young athletes seeking to return to sports to older adults aiming to maintain independence through improved mobility. Your role will directly impact their recovery and daily function, making it essential to address their unique needs holistically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is strongly preferred.
• Valid and active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with a pristine record free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional proficiency in a range of manual therapy modalities and rehabilitation techniques.
• Strong ability to develop and execute effective exercise programs tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Proficient in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly experience with WebPT for documentation and patient tracking.
• A commitment to continuous clinical education and staying informed about advancements in physical therapy practices supported by research.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly valued.
• Demonstrated success in creating personalized rehabilitation programs resulting in improved patient outcomes.
• Experience working with diverse demographic and cultural patient populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and remote patient engagement is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
