The role of Physical Therapist is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, conveniently located in Freehold, NJ. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Direct and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans tailored to each client, focusing on alleviating pain and restoring mobility.
• Assess patients' functional abilities through various diagnostic and prognostic tests involving muscles, nerves, and joints.
• Supervise and guide physical therapy assistants in executing therapy interventions in line with the established care plan.
• Evaluate and modify therapeutic approaches based on ongoing assessments and feedback from patients and care team members.
• Provide education to patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and use of assistive devices, ensuring they feel competent in their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, complying with regulatory standards.
• Engage actively in interdisciplinary team discussions regarding patient care and contribute to overall treatment strategies.
• Remain accessible to staff and clients for questions or guidance on therapy methods during treatments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will treat at Broward Physical Therapy include individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions that impair mobility and functional independence. Many clients range in age from young adults to elderly individuals, requiring a customized approach to rehabilitation that considers their unique circumstances and goals. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• A strong commitment to clinical excellence and a passion for patient care.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to nurture relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome newly graduated DPTs, candidates with a minimum of two years of clinical experience—particularly in acute care or home health environments—will be considered favorably. Experience in overseeing or mentoring Physical Therapy Assistants might be advantageous as well.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
