Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of each client's physical capabilities using diagnostic assessments to establish comprehensive treatment plans.
• Direct and oversee the delivery of physical therapy services, ensuring consistent implementation of the treatment plan as per physician's prescriptions.
• Assist and instruct clients in both manual and non-manual therapeutic exercises, providing motivation and support throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Administer additional therapeutic modalities such as traction, massage, and other physical agent treatments to facilitate recovery.
• Evaluate home environments to recommend modifications that enhance patient independence and safety during rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries, ensuring timely updates and submissions.
• Assist in training and supervising Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs), ensuring compliance with treatment protocols and state regulations.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate on the best strategies for patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele ranges from post-operative patients requiring rehabilitation following surgery to individuals managing chronic conditions affecting their mobility and functional independence. You will work closely with a diverse group of patients, tailoring rehabilitation strategies to meet their unique needs and goals, ensuring a patient-centric approach at all times.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with an impeccable record free of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a comprehensive understanding of various therapeutic modalities.
• Effective communication skills to guide clients and families through their rehabilitation journey.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient record-keeping and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred, showcasing an ability to interact successfully within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing individualized exercise programs for diverse patient populations.
• Experience with advanced physical therapy techniques and a robust understanding of therapeutic exercises.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this Full-Time Physical Therapist role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
