Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth evaluations of patients' physical abilities and impairments, developing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practice.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education, aimed at improving strength, coordination, and mobility.
• Monitor and document patients' progress meticulously to ensure adherence to treatment protocols and adjustments to care plans when necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation exercises, home care strategies, and preventative measures to enhance recovery and avoid future injuries.
• Engage with and coordinate efforts among an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff—to ensure holistic patient management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapist will work with a wide range of patients, from those recovering from orthopedic surgeries to individuals managing chronic conditions such as arthritis or post-stroke recovery. You will also engage with athletes looking to rehabilitate from sports injuries and gain insights into sports-specific recovery strategies. By understanding the unique challenges each patient faces, you will tailor your approach to meet their specific rehabilitation needs, working closely to empower them on their journey toward health.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• Demonstrated clinical reasoning and strong decision-making abilities in assessment and treatment methodologies.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills necessary for educating patients and working collaboratively with a healthcare team.
• A proactive approach in a fast-pacing environment, showcasing an ability to adapt strategies for varied patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation center or similar setting is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with therapy modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, or aquatic therapy is beneficial.
• Background working with specialty populations (e.g., geriatrics, pediatrics, or sports injuries) would be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
