At Empower-Self Physical Therapy, we are proud to run a PT-owned practice located in a state-of-the-art 5,000-square-foot facility designed specifically for orthopedic outpatient care. Our center reflects our commitment to providing exceptional physical therapy services, primarily for patients with private medical insurance. We emphasize a collaborative and supportive team environment where two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant work together to deliver the highest quality of care.

Work Environment

This position will be conducted onsite at our advanced rehabilitation center in Lakewood, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their goals, limitations, and requirements for effective rehabilitation.
• Manage and treat a caseload of patients one-on-one for one-hour sessions, ensuring that each patient receives dedicated attention.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans to enhance patients' range of motion, promote mobility, and restore overall functionality.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise protocols, to maximize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Educate patients on injury prevention methods and the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle to facilitate long-term health benefits.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care services provided, tracking treatment outcomes and progress consistently.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, consulting with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in reducing reliance on pharmacological interventions and exploring non-invasive alternatives to surgical procedures.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a supportive atmosphere that promotes healing and improvement.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify care plans accordingly to better suit patient progress.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid New Jersey state license as a Physical Therapist is required.
• Maintains a clean professional record with no board or disciplinary actions taken against the license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing exercise prescriptions are essential.
• Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of implementing effective treatment plans that lead to improved patient outcomes.
• Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
