Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, where you will be part of a collaborative team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our supportive environment promotes teamwork and innovation, ensuring that you have the resources and backing to provide top-quality patient care. You will work a consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' needs and establish clear treatment goals and plans.
• Manage a patient load effectively, seeing approximately one patient per hour while maintaining high-quality care standards.
• Utilize diverse treatment techniques to deliver personalized, evidence-based interventions aimed at improving functional outcomes.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that integrate therapeutic exercises, functional training, and behavioral health strategies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatments, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain accurate documentation of patient progress.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, emphasizing the importance of active participation in their recovery.
• Promote healthy lifestyle changes by focusing on enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals across various disciplines to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus encompasses individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will engage with a diverse clientele, primarily those with private medical insurance, who are eager to regain mobility and improve their overall physical function. Your expertise will be instrumental in reducing reliance on pain medications and postponing surgical interventions whenever possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Proven track record with no board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
• Excellent manual therapy skills and a solid understanding of orthopedic physical therapy principles.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy setting is highly desired.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to facilitate seamless documentation and patient management.
• Proficient in creating and implementing personalized exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The offered salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
