Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will predominantly work onsite in various home care settings throughout Howell, NJ. This environment allows you to conduct assessments and treatments in the comfort of the patient's home, facilitating personalized care and fostering strong therapist-patient relationships. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team comprising physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to provide holistic care tailored to the needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions and develop personalized treatment plans that respect their specific needs and goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation exercises to enhance patient recovery and mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention practices, appropriate home exercises, and ongoing self-management strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient findings, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Actively participate in team meetings and case discussions to ensure continuity of care and share insights on patient management.
• Utilize advanced technology and tools relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation to enhance therapeutic outcomes, including modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary client focus includes patients of all age groups suffering from a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Our approach is tailored to support each individual's recovery journey, facilitating restoration of function and alleviation of pain, thereby improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills with a thorough understanding of orthopedic conditions and their implications on rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive compensation package with a salary range of USD 110,000 – 130,000 annually, complemented by performance bonuses.
