Key Responsibilities

• Apply your orthopedic expertise daily by assessing patient needs, providing evaluations, and developing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Deliver a variety of physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training, tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants and technicians, ensuring that care tasks are executed timely and effectively.
• Document and track patient progress accurately, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain comprehensive patient histories.
• Contribute to team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and share insights that can enhance service delivery.
• Support a culture of patient safety and personalized care, adhering to all organizational policies and professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will primarily consist of orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. You will provide care that aligns with the diverse needs of patients, from post-operative rehabilitation to sports injury recovery. This role may also include specialized pediatric interventions depending on your experience and interests, allowing you to leverage your training to address unique developmental needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Valid and active state licensure or certification to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in orthopedic physical therapy is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting patient progress is preferred.
• Current CPR certification is preferred, aligning with organizational standards.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams are necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
