Vitality Empower Physical Therapy is on the lookout for a qualified and dedicated Full-Time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. In this role, you will focus on empowering patients to restore their mobility and improve their overall functionality. As a vital part of our facility, you will advocate for each patient's health journey, assess their needs, and guide them through customized rehabilitation interventions for optimal results.

Our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility spans over 5,000 square feet and is equipped with the latest technology in sports medicine, allowing us to provide a high standard of care for our patients. Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our Lakewood facility, allowing you to engage directly with patients in a supportive atmosphere. Our work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, which fosters a balanced work-life structure for our employees while enabling dedicated, focused care for our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify and understand each patient's goals and needs, developing individualized care plans that effectively promote health and wellness.
• Manage a caseload of patients, allowing for focused, one-on-one treatment sessions with a patient every hour.
• Deliver evidence-based treatments that not only aim to improve range of motion and mobility but also reduce reliance on medications or surgical options.
• Design and implement comprehensive fitness and wellness programs tailored to the unique conditions and recovery needs of each patient.
• Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans to ensure optimum recovery pathways.
• Engage in active patient motivation, supporting them through their rehabilitation journey to maximize their physical functioning.
• Collaborate regularly with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and coordinate inter-professional treatment strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records through EMR Software, emphasizing effective communication and transparency in patient care services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Vitality Empower Physical Therapy, we predominantly serve individuals with private medical insurance. Our patient population includes a diverse range of orthopedic conditions, from sports injuries to post-surgical rehabilitation. Each patient is treated as a unique individual, and we are dedicated to customizing their treatment plans to fit their specific health goals and recovery timelines.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey, maintaining an impeccable professional record with no disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques, paired with strong skills in developing and implementing effective exercise protocols.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR software, particularly WebPT, to ensure efficient clinical documentation and patient workflow.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working specifically within orthopedic outpatient settings, with a strong understanding of the challenges and best practices associated with this population.
• A background in sports medicine or relevant certifications that underscore expertise in rehabilitative therapy.
• Experience in creating and overseeing fitness protocols that facilitate patient participation and engagement in their recovery process.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000, alongside a competitive benefits package designed to support your well-being.
