Evolution Physical Therapy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Howell, New Jersey. This full-time position is essential for enhancing patient recovery in our orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation facility. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in guiding patients on their path to recovery, focusing on restoring mobility and improving overall functionality.

We are a PT-owned practice that primarily serves patients with private medical insurance, emphasizing a collaborative environment among a close-knit team of experienced professionals, including two physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).

Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center operates onsite in Howell, New Jersey, providing a supportive and engaging atmosphere for both staff and patients. The center is designed to foster recovery, featuring modern equipment and a welcoming space where patients feel comfortable and motivated. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life harmony.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and set realistic goals that prioritize their recovery and well-being.
• Manage a steady caseload, averaging one patient per hour, to ensure quality time and attention.
• Implement evidence-based treatment strategies focused on orthopedic rehabilitation, enhancing patient mobility and independence.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that include a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Employ cost-effective solutions that reduce reliance on medications and avoid unnecessary surgeries.
• Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately, maintaining comprehensive medical records.
• Foster motivation and encourage patients, reinforcing the importance of adherence to treatment protocols for optimal outcomes.
• Work in collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Promote healthy lifestyle interventions aimed at improving strength, balance, flexibility, and overall coordination.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Validation of a current, valid state-issued license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Clear professional history without any disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong clinical skills in manual therapy techniques and extensive knowledge of exercise protocols.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling successful interactions with patients and team members.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, facilitating accurate and efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Experience in developing and implementing patient-focused fitness and rehabilitation programs.
• Ability to motivate a diverse patient population through personalized treatment and care plans.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
