Work Environment

This full-time role operates onsite, providing hands-on care in a dynamic outpatient office setting. You will work alongside two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA) in a professional environment designed to promote optimal healing and patient interactions. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring that work-life balance is achievable for our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' needs and establish personalized treatment plans that maximize movement and quality of life.
• Effectively manage patient care by maintaining a schedule of one patient per hour, allowing for focused and quality treatment sessions.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques to enhance clients' mobility and functional capabilities.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and develop customized exercise regimens that align with each patient's rehabilitation objectives.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans and strategies as necessary to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all services provided while ensuring clear communication with patients about their care and progress.
• Collaborate regularly with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment and ensure comprehensive care continuity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve predominantly have private medical insurance and often present with conditions related to orthopedic injuries or surgeries. You will be instrumental in their recovery process, providing not only physical rehabilitation but also motivational support that encourages a proactive approach to health and wellness.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to ensure a thorough understanding of contemporary rehabilitation practices.
• You must hold a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, with no board actions or disciplinary measures on record.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a comprehensive grasp of exercise science are critical for providing effective treatment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is essential for understanding the nuances of rehabilitation for musculoskeletal conditions.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, is preferred to enhance documentation efficiency and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
