Queen Tower Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Lakewood, New Jersey. This role is instrumental in aiding our patients on their journey to regain mobility and enhance their overall functionality. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients' physical conditions and implementing personalized treatment strategies aimed at improving their quality of life.

Work Environment

This role is designed to be performed onsite at our rehabilitation center, allowing for direct interaction with patients and collaboration with a committed team. You will work alongside two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, providing a supportive and cooperative work culture aimed at achieving the best outcomes for our patients. Our standard operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, facilitating a work-life balance that enhances both personal and professional satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions, establishing clear care objectives tailored to individual needs.
• Manage and maintain an efficient patient load, typically accommodating one patient per hour while delivering high-quality care.
• Implement cost-effective, evidence-based treatment plans that enhance patients' mobility while minimizing reliance on medications or surgical interventions.
• Develop and oversee comprehensive rehabilitation programs utilizing a variety of treatment techniques and therapies.
• Educate and motivate patients throughout their treatment plans to ensure engagement and maximize functional abilities.
• Promote healthy lifestyle habits, focusing on building strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring all treatment interactions are recorded accurately in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and holistic approaches to patient well-being.
• Regularly assess treatment effectiveness, making adjustments to care plans based on patient feedback and outcomes.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development through attending workshops, seminars, and training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Queen Tower Recovery Center, we primarily serve patients with private medical insurance, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation. Our diverse patient population ranges from athletes recovering from sports injuries to adults regaining strength after surgeries. You will have the opportunity to work with clients at various stages of recovery, ensuring personalized care that fosters individual growth and rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey with a clean professional record, free from board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Strong manual therapy skills with a focus on evidence-based practices.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing exercise regimens specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with EMR software platforms, specifically experience with WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist within orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Expertise in assessing and treating a variety of conditions related to musculoskeletal injuries.
• Proven success in motivating patients and guiding them through tailored rehabilitation processes.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
