Work Environment

This position is based at our outpatient office in Freehold, New Jersey. The clinic is equipped with advanced therapeutic modalities and technology that enable a comprehensive treatment approach. Our standard working hours are Monday through Friday, allowing for a well-balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical condition through comprehensive assessments, utilizing clinical knowledge to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement individualized physical therapy interventions aimed at alleviating pain, enhancing mobility, and restoring function, such as therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants to ensure adherence to established care plans while fostering their professional development.
• Perform detailed documentation for all patient interactions, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Conduct evaluations of patients' home environments, making recommendations for modifications that facilitate independence and safety.
• Engage in continuous communication with other healthcare team members to collectively assess and improve treatment strategies.
• Participate in the formulation and regular review of care plans, updating them based on patient progress and changes in condition.
• Facilitate patient and family education on physical therapy interventions and self-management strategies to ensure effective follow-through of prescribed exercises and techniques.
• Maintain timely submission of all documentation and orders in accordance with company policy, ensuring seamless communication across departments.
• Actively participate in case conferences and team meetings, contributing valuable insights into patient care and treatment formulation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients with orthopedic conditions,including post-surgical patients and those recovering from injuries. You will work closely with individuals seeking rehabilitation for sports injuries, arthritis, post-surgical joint replacements, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Your ability to deliver targeted care will empower patients to enhance their physical capacities, leading to improved overall health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A minimum of one year of experience working as a licensed physical therapist in either acute care or home care settings.
• Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of New Jersey, in good standing.
• Valid CPR certification and a clean driver's license with automobile insurance.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset that embraces a creative approach to clinical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a passion for patient advocacy.

Compensation and Benefits

Progressive Care Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
