Work Environment

You will work onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, equipped with innovative rehabilitation technologies and treatment tools designed to create effective therapeutic experiences for our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and establish personalized treatment goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that encompass a range of therapeutic modalities.
• Provide one-on-one patient sessions, managing a caseload with an average of one patient per hour to ensure personalized attention.
• Integrate manual therapy techniques to aid in pain relief and improve joint function.
• Develop exercise protocols tailored to patients' unique needs, focusing on enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Utilize digital tools, specifically EMR Software like WebPT, for accurate record-keeping and monitoring of patient progress.
• Perform regular assessments and document treatment outcomes, ensuring clear communication with patients and healthcare partners.
• Promote alternative treatment options to reduce reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Engage regularly in professional development and team meetings to discuss challenges and innovations in treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role entails working primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. You will collaborate with individuals of varying ages and activity levels, providing tailored strategies that reflect their unique recovery journeys. This establishes a profound trust between the therapist and the patient, essential for motivating them towards their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• An unblemished professional record with no adverse actions against your physical therapy license.
• Strong competency in manual therapy and exercise prescription relevant to orthopedic recovery.
• Excellent communication skills that foster rapport with patients and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective exercise programs based on evidence-based practices.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
