Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations, using evidence-based practices to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement hands-on therapy techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the use of appropriate modalities to facilitate healing and functional improvement.
• Continuously monitor and record patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies to reflect changes in their condition or goals.
• Offer education and guidance to patients and their families about home exercise programs, injury prevention techniques, and lifestyle adjustments that promote recovery.
• Remain current on advancements in orthopedic physical therapy practices to improve the quality of care provided to our patients.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient records to support ongoing treatment and compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries, including joint replacements, fractures, and sports-related injuries. Your ability to empathize and connect with patients of various ages—from children to seniors—will be crucial in motivating them to achieve their rehabilitation goals. You will also address the unique challenges presented by each patient's living situation, assisting them in adapting to their environment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• At least three years of clinical experience in physical therapy, preferably with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective patient interactions.
• A demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 yearly, commensurate with experience.
